Sue Berresford from Teesdale Council (who has helped us so much to raise funds for new trails) has asked that as many of you as possible email visioning@teesdale.gov.uk to stress that as part of the future strategy for Teesdale you want to see more and better cycle trails - for economic, health, fitness and whatever other reasons you can think of. Teesdale are doing a big consutation exercise at the moment on how people want to see the district developed (their 'Visioning' project, see http://www.teesdale.gov.uk/category.asp?cat=676 for further info.)

The Forestry Commission are still carrying out consultation on the future of Hamsterley and we need to make sure that the views of mountain bikers are taken into consideration, so 'support and develop cycling' emails to both the Forestry Commission and to Teesdale are needed now if you want to see more trails at Hamsterley.
