Sunday 3rd August - MTBE Invasion/Charity Ride

MTBE are planning an invasion !

We're meeting at the visitors centre at 10:00am on Sunday 3rd August with the intent of doing a route around Hamsterley forest. The plan is to do a loop round the forest then play on the DH and 4X tracks. Expert local knowledge is welcome to help introduce newcomers to the forest (if you'd like to volunteer to help guide, please contact Filthy via the forum).

Some of you may know MTBE regular rider PaulB : his little lad Callum was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and is currently receiving treatment at the RVI in Newcastle. We all wish him a speedy recovery.

The aim of this ride is to raise funds for CLICsargent (which is a charity that has helped Paul and his family tremendously since the outset of Callum’s illness).
