Hamster VI Enduro

May heralds this years enduro event in Hamsterley Forest. In conjunction with Red Ape Cycles and bike sponsor Commencal, there are big plans for this series.

The event takes the format of a six hour enduro, the aim being to complete as many of the 8 mile laps in the allotted time. With fire road climbs and singletrack descents, there's something in this years event for everyone, part of the course being familiar with those who took part in SSUK06.

Not done an enduro before ? Put off by the competitiveness ? Then dont be. The Hamsterley enduro series is renowned for it's friendly atmosphere. Not convinced ? Then why else would there be spot prizes for riders who complete at least one lap ? Camp there the night before and experience the atmosphere (toilets, water and bbq's are supplied) - you'll make this a regular date in your calendar.

Still not convinced ? Why not come and test the fleet of demo bikes ? You've nothing to lose.

Practise and registration takes place on the 19th of May, the event itself is on the 20th of May. The entry fee for early entries is a snip at £25 (£30 on the day).
